You might be wondering where in the bible, The prophet Mohammed (saw) was specifically written about?
Or you may argue that he was never mentioned in the bible.
Well….because, it was……Lol.
Could John 16:13 (New testament) be about him? which states that; “But when he, the spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears and he will tell you what is yet to come.
Here, you may say, “he”(not capitalized) was not specifically mentioned by name, how do I trust the verse was truly about him?
Well, personally, I do not know but I believe it does, however, on a second thought,
I bet you may have an answer already, in case you do not, let me show you another…
This one is from the Torah (part of the bible), the old testament, Moses’ final Blessing (prophesy) before his death, also the Hebrew, Jewish Bible.
Deuteronomy 33 verses 1-3, which states:
“The Lord came from Sinai, and dawned on them from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran, and He came with 10 thousand (10000) saints; from His right hand came a fiery law for them”.
To explain,
The Lord came from Sinai (peninsula in Egypt, where Moses received (The 10 commandment), Seir is in Palestine, (this is about the coming of Jesus), (yes, Muslims belief that Jesus is coming back) and shined forth from mount Paran, (the mountain range in the Arabian desert around Mecca, this is about Ishmael, Abraham’s eldest son where he settled, also the birthplace of prophet Mohammed
(see Genesis 21 verse 21) and he came with 10000….
“The prophet (saw) left Medina (for Mecca) in the company of 10000 (Muslim warriors) in (the month of) Ramadan….”(Hadith Sahih Bukhari 4276 vol. 5, book 59, Hadith 574)
with his right hand came a fiery law (The Qur’an?) for them.
Habakkuk 3:3 states: God (His glory\guidance) came from Teman, (an oasis, north of Medina) and the Holy One from Mount Paran (Arabian desert in Makkah). Selah. His glory covered the heavens and the earth was full of His praise.
It was recorded that Prophet Mohammed left Mecca for Medina when the Arab pagans would not let him preach Islam in Mecca, (please refer to the previously quoted hadith in the previous post) it wasn't until he migrated to Medina that Islam was widely accepted and more popularized.
So was he mentioned or not?
Considering the many variations and translations to suit the modern biblical narratives?
Well, I will leave you to answer this question yourself.
(By the way, I am still researching for more evidence, laughs.)
Until, my next post.
